The Pure Desire of the Heart Is Always Fulfilled
Dadi, like Baba fulfills the pure desires of the
heart. When I was in Oxford, I often used to
see Dadi through the windows taking one of her
regular walks with the Senior sisters. They
would walk hand in hand and it was so lovely to
see them. I thought how beautiful it would be
if I too could one day walk with Dadi hand in
hand Though it seemed impossible, the day came.
News reached me that Dadi would be arriving at
the airport in Vienna (which is near Hungary
where I live). I picked Dadi up at the airport.
When I saw her, without saying anything, she
took my hand and we walked through the airport
together. I can’t explain the feeling. We walked
so silently. It was as if I wasn’t on the earth
anymore. I will never forget those few moments
of timeless time.
Words of Wisdom
“What Baba has said in His elevated versions is
happening and you are seeing that. It’s fortune
to see and experience that. We don’t need to do
anything else. He is doing everything; He is
inspiring everything. We just carry on
experiencing that, whilst looking at Karavanhar,
the One who is making us do everything, by
constantly looking at Him, our lives have become
worthwhile. In fact, it’s not so much the fact
that my life is now successful but that it is no
longer in my hands; it’s in Baba’s hands. We are
being sustained in Baba’s lap. Baba has made us
His companions. It is such a beautiful
pilgrimage! The only sound that emerges is that
everyone’s life should be like this.”
“I should have such a desire to meet and be with
God that that feeling of desire to be with God
is in my every breath. This feeling of wanting
to meet and be with God will bring rewards when
you sit in meditation. Ask God: Do you love me?
Actually, I cannot live without Him and He
cannot live without me. Baba wants you as His
companion! It is through belonging to God and
making Him belong to us that we learned to
really smile. Now listen to knowledge and
inculcate it in such a way that sorrow is
dispelled from every inner corner where it has
been hiding until now. “
Drishti Point
As I walk with the Beautiful One and the Friend
of the Heart, I radiate the warmth of this
connection to each soul I meet.
Karma Yoga Exercise
Take Baba with you through your day. Place your
hand of light in his hand of light and hold the
awareness that you are walking with the most
Beautiful One, the Friend of the Heart and the
Eternal Companion.
